CAMAROS - from the archive -

This was originally posted on my myspace profile on March-22-2006...enjoy:

For any of you who know me...have any of you actually came here yet? Are you guys to old to do myspace? Anyway I love cars...muscle cars...camaro's.

I still have my first camaro...which just happens to be my first car ever. It is a 1970 camaro that has saddly sat around rusting for the last 6 years. My next house MUST have a garage! Poor old "Goldie" will one day be restored.

Old 'Goldie" after an untrained college restoration.

After driving around a car that got 9.5 mph thru high school and college I decided to buy something newer with better gas miliage. I wanted a 92 camaro but settled for a almost pedestrial S-10.
WANT!!!

After 6 years of driving a vehicle that was no fun and got me no cool looks at all, thats one of the things about driving a cool car...people looking at you and the car wishing they were you, thats cool.

I bought my newest baby. A well cared for, unmolested 95 camaro z28. I wanted something with style,  power, and all the modern amenities. My camaro has it. 285 stock horse power, power this and that, leather interior and it's a convertible! I bought it from an old widow who's husband had owned it and was a collector, he wanted something fun to drive till he got his 36 Ford cabriolet built...well he died... and I got his car!

MINE!!!

Sweeeeet... of course I learned yesterday removing the computer to see if the previous owner had put a performance chip in it wasnt a great idea. It set a "service engine soon" light, so now I have to diagnose that.

2012 UPDATE:

Damn...that was a long time ago. The 'stock' horse power is gone now. I have upgraded with all synthetic fluids (less parasitic HP loss), Cold Air Intake, Air Foil for the throttle body. Upgraded to 1996-97 SS wheels), new top.

A peak under the hood after the Cold Air Intake setup.

The SS style wheels are a hell of an update to the stock "salad shooter" wheels.

Of course with age the condition goes down. the top was poorly put in by a handicapped midget in West Virginia, one of the rear wheels has a chip out of the lip and needs to be replaced and the other rear wheel has a crack in the center section of it and needs to be welded shut...uh...a head gasket imploded and the engine came out to make sure there was no real damage...just had to fis an oil leak due to the valve cover being over tightened over the years...etc...etc...

But it is a 16 year old car...What do you expect?
GRRRRRRRRRR bitch!
